Welcome to Sun Street
A multi-use venue and studio space supporting concerts, theatre, sound work, rehearsals, and recording.
Offering a diverse mix of live performance, from the raw to the refined – music, spoken word, small theatre, and one-off creative events.
Sun Street Studios is dedicated to immersive listener experiences – a seat for everyone, a space to unwind, connect, and enjoy the arts.

Sun Street Studios is housed in a grand 1840s building with a connected performance hall – the heart of our live shows. The site carries stories from its past lives – once Dickson’s Store, later the Royal Hotel – and now beats again with music, theatre, and community.

- Work, But This Time Like You Mean ItUpstage Youth Theatre takes over Sun Street Studios in Maitland with Honor Webster-Mannison’s absurdist comedy: a witty, wild ride through the chaos of a fast-food joint and the pressures bubbling beneath the surface. Nov 13–15 in Maitland.
- Cameron Jones Trio – The Manouche SessionsThe Cameron Jones Trio brings the spirit of Manouche jazz to Sun Street Studios.
