Simon Threadgate is a guy who is great at bringing bands together & head of Create Maitland’s all ages projects.
Imaginary Things describe themselves as “a carnival of cool creation. Twin guitars swirling around in a crazed hypnotic dance, rhythmically engaged in a solid Bass groove behind a relentless pounding Rock beat. Add a singer that purges souls with thunderous vocals, that’s Imaginary Things!”
The Midnight Vultures are a Maitland based band of experienced musos, the band blends the progressive intricacies of Tool with the catchy hooks of Blink-182 and the quirky grooves of Primus, all while channelling the spirit of 90s alternative rock.
Revenant are a young band bringing heavy riffs and youthful vigour to the stage to kick off proceedings.
